Blizzard has made significant droprate changes in Ulduar and Icecrown Citadel, allowing players to complete their Wrath of the Lich King goals before Cataclysm. Raid groups can now finish a full Shadowmourne and obtain 17 Shadowfrost Shards per Icecrown Citadel clear, speeding up the process significantly. Additionally, players can gear up quickly with the increased drops of Defiler's Scourgestones in Defense Protocol: Gamma dungeons.
